We've just completed a roadshow for Auran Games to launch their new MMO PVP game: Fury. It was such fun! This has opened up a whole new world for me - I didn't know much at all about gaming (and probably still don't) - but at least I know it exists now...

The roadshow was in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane and was held at nightclubs (Tank in Sydney, and The Family in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane), and ACMI at Fed Square in Melbourne. Part of the marketing for Fury included Siobhan Parekh, an FHM Model, being created as a character in the game (so you can play as Siobhan if you want to).

This gorgeous woman was at all of the events so the attendees could meet her and have their photos taken with her (including me - just to clarify, I'm the one on the left).

The guys from Auran set up an 8-player LAN so that guests could have a go at the game, playing against other players. At some of the events, we had professional gamer teams playing, with commentators, and live feeds to the screen for the audience to see. I had a great time - it was like being on tour with a rock band! More than 3 weeks lead time would have been helpful, but it all came together in the end.
